Legacy creates space for women to contribute their experience, wisdom and leadership in ways that create lasting impact for future generations. Through the Lionhearted Alumni network, we are building a meaningful collaboration with the in Uganda, creating opportunities for women to support vulnerable children through connection, community and practical care.
This partnership will include fundraising initiatives, community support campaigns, sponsored visits to Uganda and opportunities for Lionhearted women to contribute their skills, knowledge and networks in ways that create sustainable impact on the ground. Beyond financial support, the vision is to build a connected “mums group” through the Lionhearted alumni community, providing consistent encouragement, guidance and relational support to young people as they grow.
As children transition into adulthood at 18, the focus extends beyond care to creating pathways for independence, confidence and opportunity. This includes practical transition support, mentoring, wellbeing support, education guidance, life skills, employment pathways and connection to broader networks that can help create a stronger future. The intention is to ensure these young people feel seen, supported and connected to a community that genuinely cares about who they become, not simply where they came from.
Legacy Conferences bring together girls, women, educators, leaders and communities in spaces designed for learning, connection and shared experience. These conferences create opportunities for meaningful conversations around leadership, wellbeing, purpose, education and the future of women and girls.
By connecting schools and communities nationally, the conferences create a broader ecosystem of support where women and girls can learn from one another, build relationships and feel part of something larger than themselves. They are designed to inspire action while also creating practical pathways for growth, collaboration and contribution.
The Scholarship Program extends the impact of Lionhearted to girls and young women who may not otherwise have access to leadership development, educational experiences or personal growth opportunities.
Scholarships are designed to remove barriers and create greater equity by providing access to programs, workshops, retreats and experiences that support confidence, capability and future opportunity. This work reflects a long term commitment to investing in the next generation of women and ensuring more girls have the opportunity to thrive.
School trips and immersion experiences to developing countries provide girls and young women with opportunities to broaden perspective, deepen gratitude and build greater cultural awareness and connection.
These experiences encourage students to step beyond their own environments and engage with different communities, cultures and ways of living. Through service, learning and shared human experience, girls develop empathy, resilience, leadership and a stronger understanding of their role within a global community.
500 Mums is a collective giving and impact initiative created through Lionhearted, bringing women together to create meaningful change for children and communities in developing countries.
Built on the belief that small contributions from many women can create extraordinary outcomes, the initiative supports projects focused on education, wellbeing, safety and opportunity. From helping build schools and providing access to technology, to supporting local communities with practical resources, 500 Mums is about women using their collective strength to create a lasting legacy for the next generation.
It is grounded in compassion, connection and the understanding that when women come together with purpose, lives change.
Legacy explores new ways for women to live, connect and age with greater intention, support and community. Emerging co living models are designed around meaningful connection, shared experiences and creating environments where women can continue to thrive throughout different life stages.
These models recognise the importance of belonging, contribution and community in long term wellbeing and create opportunities for women to live in ways that are both connected and considered.
The Legacy Circle sits at the centre of this pillar, creating an ongoing community for women committed to contribution, mentorship and meaningful impact.
Through regular gatherings, shared learning and collaborative initiatives, women remain connected to a network that values wisdom, integrity and purposeful leadership. It is a space where relationships deepen, ideas evolve and women continue shaping what comes next together.
