For us, that moment was meeting 38 extraordinary children in Uganda who had lost almost everything except hope.

Through our partnership with Katie Johnson and Home of Good Children Uganda, we met children whose resilience, joy and courage inspired us to dream bigger.

We realised they didn’t just need a shelter.

They needed a family.

So we asked one simple question.

What if 500 women chose to become mums?

Not by replacing the incredible carers already surrounding these children, but by becoming another layer of love, hope and opportunity throughout their lives.

Our Partnership

Katie has spent years walking alongside these children and their dedicated carers, ensuring they are safe, loved and supported every single day.

The Three Pillars of 500 Mums

500 Mums

500 women building a forever home.

Our first mission is simple.

Bring together 500 women, each contributing $500, to raise $250,000 to build a permanent shelter and school for our 38 children.

Together we are creating:

• Safe accommodation

• A place to learn

• Nutritious meals

• Security and stability

• Opportunity

• A place they can proudly call home

Because every child deserves somewhere safe to sleep, learn and dream.

500 Days of Love

Every child deserves to hear, “You are loved.”

A shelter provides safety.

Love creates belonging.

For 500 days, our community sends messages, videos, birthday wishes, encouragement and hope to remind every child that there are hundreds of women around the world thinking of them.

Every single day.
